I’m Erik van Dijk, the founder of this group. Before you explore the site, I wanted to speak with you directly and share the personal mission that drives everything we do.
For years, I worked in finance and saw a frustrating paradox: the world is filled with brilliant entrepreneurs and innovative companies, yet the doors to high-level advice and capital remain closed to them. This isn’t just a feeling; my early academic research confirmed this “Neglected Firm Effect.” Firms outside the spotlight—whether due to their size, sector, or geography—are consistently undervalued.

You might see the photo of me with my late mentor, Nobel Laureate Dr. Harry Markowitz, and think our quantitative approach is only for giant corporations. The opposite is true.
