Erik L. van Dijk is the founder and principal of One4All Global, a UAE-based consultancy that reflects his extensive, multi-decade career in the international financial markets. With a robust quantitative background (he started his career as a professor of Finance) and a history of managing multi-billion dollar portfolios, Erik possesses a deep, practitioner's understanding of the global financial architecture. His expertise is not merely theoretical; it is forged from direct experience in asset management, proprietary trading, and the strategic leadership of financial enterprises (including a FinTech startup).

Before establishing One4All, Erik was a recognized figure in the European financial scene, known for his innovative approach to investment models and risk management; with a special focus on emerging markets, overreaction and neglect. His social-entrepreneurial drive led him to transition from the institutional world to creating a firm dedicated to empowering Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).

As an author, Erik’s insights are direct, unfiltered, and pragmatic. He demystifies complex financial and strategic topics, from startup valuation to the nuances of global regulatory shifts. He is also the co-creator of the Markowitz-van Dijk asset allocation model (joint work with the late Nobel Prize Laureate dr Harry Markowitz). His current research interest is the incorporation of AI into the model, so as to better capture high-frequency, short-term qualitative information.
